The Youngest Candidate
When I saw The Youngest Candidate, I found it to be both an inspiring example of young people getting involved in the political process and a sobering reminder of how the two-party system in America has turned the two parties into clubs, divided into members and outsiders. I decided to make art for the film because I think those are equally important lessons in democracy, especially for anyone who wants to change things and for anyone convinced that things will never change.

We Heart Justin
The great people at Poketo, along with Will Hays, Chris Bettig, and Zach Gibson have organized a fund raiser / emotional booster for one of our favorite people, Justin Van Hoy, who has been suffering and battling with Leukemia for quite some time now. He has just been released from being in the hospital for 3 months undergoing chemo for the 2nd time, radiation & a bone marrow transplant. Justin, and his amazing wife, Holly, are struggling physically, mentally and financially. We are organizing events for them to show our love and support all over the US, and we are organizing an evening here in Los Angeles on Friday June 5th at the Poketo Studio in downtown. We are going to have a silent art auction, featuring artworks generously donated by :

Venice Italy
Venice Italy is beautiful, the weather is great, and our hosts are generous. I met James Rosenquist at the Guggenheim the other night, and I had lunch with Rauchenberg’s printer and his business manager today. Thanks to Ayn from Gemini G.E.L for hooking that up. We have a few more installs to do, but so far so good. I’m donating 6 fine art pieces and all these installations to raise mone for the restoration of Venice. The image with the horses and tower will be a print edition to raise money. I’ll update more photos and info for the art auctions later.
